Job Description
  • Provide companionship and conversation to seniors
  • Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and linen changing
  • Lay out clothes and assist with dressing
  • Plan and prepare meals
  • Provide medication reminders
  • Transport seniors to and from appointments
  • Help family members learn safe care techniques
Requirements
  • Treat clients with dignity and respect
  • Interpret the client's provided plan of care
  • Valid driver's license and transportation
  • Be flexible and adapt to new situations
  • Tolerance to small pets (i.e. dogs and/or cats)
  • Be able to be reached via phone or email for shift schedules, client updates, and emergencies
  • Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
