About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Neuro Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to lead the Acute Stroke and Neuro therapy teams. The ideal candidate will have advanced clinical skills, leadership expertise, and excellent communication abilities.

Job Description
  • To lead the team in providing high-quality therapy services to patients with Stroke and other Neurological conditions.
  • To manage junior staff, develop team members, and support quality improvement initiatives.
  • To act as a source of clinical expertise and provide a clinical service for this cohort in line with professional qualification.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading specialist team-based continuous professional development activities.
  • Participating in stroke and neuro team service-wide CPD activities.
  • Developing the service and staff as a team of managers.
  • Liaising with CNRS, Homefirst, and Reablement Teams to ensure optimal rehabilitation pathways.
Requirements
  • Post-registration training in neurological physiotherapy or occupational therapy.
  • Commitment to advanced clinical professional development.
  • Significant experience at Band 7 level working with neurological patients.
Estimated Salary: £45,489 - £51,407

This role is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and a Disclosure and Barring Service check will be required.
