Job Description

As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in the daily lives of our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality support and care to ensure their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.

You will work closely with other members of the team to create a safe and nurturing environment that fosters growth and development. This may involve creating timetables, setting boundaries, and expectations for the young people in your care. Consistency and organisation skills are essential for this role.

Additionally, you will assist with daily tasks, such as household chores, meal preparation, and personal care. You will also be involved in therapeutic activities, designed to promote emotional well-being and resilience.

In return for your dedication and hard work, you can expect a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive comprehensive training and development opportunities to help you advance your career.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid driving licence
  • 22 years old or above (in accordance with children's homes regulations)
  • Relevant experience working with children and young people, preferably in a residential setting
