Theatres Operating Room Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Scrub Nurse to join our team at a leading hospital in London. As a key member of our theatres team, you will be responsible for promoting and maintaining the highest standards of individualised nursing/ODP care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care - Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the needs of patients on an ongoing basis, coordinating the care given by all members of the clinical team.
- Team Leadership - Act as an expert member of the Scrub team and a resource person to others, providing accurate information, advice and support to the multidisciplinary team, patients and their relatives.
- Practice Development - Ensure that Clinical Guidelines are implemented and to be actively involved in auditing practice and developing action plans in conjunction with senior colleagues and the Clinical Governance Lead.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Over 2 years' experience in theatres
- Demonstrable clinical expertise, relevant to the area/sphere of responsibilities
- Previous experience of leading change in a clinical environment
This is a permanent full time role for 37.5 hours a week working day shifts from Monday-Friday with one Saturday a month.
