About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Theatre Nurse to join our team at NHS. As a Theatre Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our theatre departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing Patient Care: You will be responsible for delivering evidence-based care to patients undergoing surgery, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout their operative journey.
  • Supporting the Theatre Team: You will work closely with the theatre team to provide support and guidance, as well as assisting with the training and development of junior staff and students.
  • Running Recovery Rooms: In conjunction with and in the absence of a Senior Theatre Recovery Nurse, you will take responsibility for running recovery rooms, ensuring that patients receive seamless care during their recovery process.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: You must be registered with the NMC as a qualified nurse and have a strong foundation in ODP practice, either through City & Guilds 752 or NVQ3 in ODP Practice.
  • Experience: Significant experience working in theatres is essential, with a proven track record of caring for patients in various settings.
  • Skills: Effective communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills are crucial for this role, as well as a willingness to develop teaching skills and contribute to the growth of the team.
Salary and Benefits
