Job Summary:

Tangent International is seeking a highly skilled Fibre Network Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our Permit Team, you will be responsible for the administration and coordination of permitting, wayleaves, and asset sharing for the deployment of fibre networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Permit Administration: Manage and administer permitting processes, including monitoring and coordination of Streetworks activities.
  • Collaboration with Build Teams: Work closely with Build Managers and Build partners to plan and schedule work, ensuring all permits are administered with the correct information.
  • Resource Coordination: Set up and coordinate resources, processes, and strategies for the complete processing of Planning Permissions, Wayleaves, private permits, Asset sharing, and TTROs.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including HA & LA, DNOs, local utility owners, and asset owners, to obtain relevant permits/permissions/authorizations.
  • Permit Identification: Identify all possible permits required for fibre network deployment, utilizing available sources, and prioritize critical permits for timely application and issuance.

Requirements:

  • Language: Fluent in English language
  • Experience: 5+ years' experience and proven contacts in Local Authorities
  • Skills: Demonstrated experience in Wayleave and Planning processes, knowledge of local regulations for civil works in UK, solid knowledge of NRSWA and TMA, leadership, customer-focused, communication, negotiation, planning, and IT skills.
  • Education: Basic understanding of FTTx architecture and designs, knowledge of Openreach PIA processes, procedures, and accreditation requirements.
