Location: North West London

Job Type: Full-time

About Us:

The Forward Trust is a social enterprise that empowers people to break the cycle of crime or addiction and move forward with their lives.

We have been helping people to build positive and productive lives for over 25 years, and we believe that anyone is capable of lasting change.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to lead our North West London service, in our mission to stop reoffending.

You will be responsible for line managing two Team Leaders, ensuring the effective running and development of each region.

Services are delivered in Probation Delivery Units within a hybrid model, and you will work a combined pattern of remote working and travelling across the services you are responsible for.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and develop a team of professionals to deliver substance misuse services in the community.
  2. Develop and maintain key strategic and operational partner relationships.
  3. Ensure good contractual performance and staff development and support.
  4. Build upon established close relationships with probation colleagues, commissioners, contract managers, and other agencies in your region and nationally.

Requirements:

  • A thorough understanding and relevant experience of providing substance mis-use services in prison or community.
  • Previous experience of developing and implementing service improvements.
  • Demonstrable ability to effectively lead and motivate teams, including through change processes.
  • Experience of supervising and supporting staff to enhance their skills and enable them to work effectively.
  • Experience and knowledge of database monitoring systems.

About You:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual who can inspire others, build relationships, deliver a contract and targets, and wants to use desistance theory to deliver effective services and influence the criminal justice system.

If you are a results-driven leader with a passion for making a difference, we want to hear from you.
