About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at HC One. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their safety, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Care Assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities.
  • Administer medication, maintain accurate records, and build strong relationships with colleagues and residents.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting kindness, empathy, and understanding.
Requirements
  • Completed a Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Care or equivalent.
  • Prepared to work towards Level 3 qualification in Adult Care or equivalent.
  • Background in person-centered care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to recognize signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise.
