About the Role

The Tunbridge Wells Grammar School for Boys is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Practitioner to join our Business and Economics department. As a Lead Practitioner, you will be responsible for modeling exemplary teaching and leading the improvement of teaching and learning across the school.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Lead on the improvement of teaching skills through modeling high-quality teaching, coaching, and training other members of staff.
  2. Develop and implement effective strategies to enhance student outcomes and progress in Business and Economics.
  3. Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver high-quality curriculum materials and resources.
  4. Contribute to the development of the school's Business and Economics department, including planning and implementing new initiatives and projects.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • High expectations and a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire colleagues.
  • Strong subject knowledge and expertise in Business and Economics, with the ability to design and deliver high-quality curriculum materials and resources.
  • A willingness to participate in Enterprise Education and other initiatives that support student learning and development.
