Senior Planner Opportunity

PropSource Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join our team in Manchester City Centre. As a Senior Planner, you will play a key role in supporting planning application submissions, managing technical consultant teams, and providing strategic advice and analysis for major projects and policy development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support planning application submissions and manage technical consultant teams to ensure timely and effective delivery.
  • Assist with materials for Local Plan Examinations, including drafting statements and attending sessions to provide expert planning advice.
  • Conduct site appraisals and provide planning advice to clients and stakeholders.
  • Offer strategic advice and analysis for major projects and policy development, including creating frameworks and masterplans to drive business growth.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, local authorities, and consultants via calls, emails, and meetings to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Prepare documents for strategic site promotion, including representations, masterplans, and development statements to showcase project potential.

Requirements:

  • An experienced Town Planner with MRTPI chartership or working towards.
  • Excellent analytical abilities and strong written communication skills to effectively convey complex planning concepts.
  • A keen interest in working with an award-winning planning consultancy and a desire to work on high-profile projects across various sectors.
