Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our client's finance team in Redhill. As a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in providing financial guidance and support to the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Cost Analysis: Conduct detailed cost analysis and identify areas for cost reduction, efficiency improvements, and profit maximisation.
- Financial Planning: Support strategic planning by providing financial projections, scenario analysis, and financial modelling.
- Business Partnering: Work closely with department heads and senior management to provide financial guidance and support on key business decisions.
- Compliance & Controls: Ensure financial processes comply with relevant regulations, standards, and internal controls.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to financial systems, processes, and reporting tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function.
Requirements
- Financial Reporting: Strong proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
- Technical Skills: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Professional Development: Potentially working towards an Accountancy qualification.
- Experience: Preferably have had previous experience working as a Management Accountant.
What We Offer
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
