Charter Bus Operator

Job Description
A Charter Bus Driver with MassHire Lowell Career Center is responsible for safely transporting clients to and from their pickup point to their destination in a timely manner. Operating a vehicle to transport people while providing excellent customer service are the most important tasks of the charter driver.

Requirements
- Age 21+ and a valid driver's license for 3+ consecutive years
- Satisfactory driving record
- Ability to pass a background check, CORI, and SORI
- CDL B with S&P endorsements (training provided)
- Flexibility to drive to various locations and adapt to last-minute changes
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a school bus to transport authorized passengers in a safe and timely manner
- Assess traffic and road conditions, monitor passenger behavior, and follow all applicable laws and regulations
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and safety checks
