About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Mechanical Design Analyst to join our client's growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to take on a leadership role and drive innovation in mechanical design.

This role involves collaborating with the design team to develop new and existing products that meet stringent technical requirements. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, experience with FEA and CFD techniques, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and analyse bespoke products ensuring compliance with client specifications, legislative requirements, quality, and HSE standards.
  • Support the Design team with the use of analytical tools not limited to FEA and CFD techniques.
  • Develop new or existing products that meet mechanical technical requirements of form, fit, and function.
  • Provide a professional mechanical engineering service to the business, interfacing with customers and suppliers to ensure activities are completed to meet or improve program, cost, and quality expectations.
  • Act as a point of contact for support and advice to other members of the design team and across the company.
Requirements:
  • A Mechanical Engineering Degree is essential, along with good knowledge of Engineering analysis tools including FEA, CFD, and other multi-physics.
  • Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control is desirable, as is good pass grades at Advanced level mathematics and physics, IMechE corporate membership, and IOA membership.
About the Opportunity
