This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working on complex projects, have strong analytical skills, and can work effectively in a team environment. You will be responsible for providing a professional mechanical engineering service to the business, interfacing with customers and suppliers to ensure activities are completed to meet program, cost, and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- To design/analyze a wide range of bespoke products ensuring compliance with client specifications, legislative requirements, quality, and HSE standards.
- Support the Design team with the use of analytical tools not limited to FEA and CFD techniques.
- To work independently or as part of a team to develop new or existing products that meet the mechanical technical requirements of form, fit, and function.
- To provide a professional mechanical engineering service to the business and so interface with customers and suppliers to ensure activities are completed to meet or improve program, cost, and quality expectations.
- To Provide a point of contact for support and advice to other members of the design team and across the company as a whole.
Requirements:
- Work on own initiative in a team environment
- Take on Role as lead Engineer on larger contracts and oversee team of Design Engineers assigned to said contract.
- Responsible to the Design Manager for all aspects of the mechanical design and integrity of the company's range of products.
Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
