Carding Machine Maintenance Technician

We require an experienced Maintenance Technician to manage the carding process on our nightshift. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking textile company with significant investment and collaboration opportunities.

About the Role:

  • Manage the maintenance and upkeep of Carding Machines
  • Assume responsibility for addressing any machine faults during the nightshift
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs of manual machinery
  • Conduct regular quality inspections of machinery and the shop
  • Identify and report critical issues for engineer resolution

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of repairing complex mechanical equipment
  • Extensive experience in a production or workshop setting
  • Supervisory or sole working experience
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced factory environment
  • Strong focus on quality and technical excellence
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and accountable individual
