Nursery Room Leader Position

About the Role:Our client, a reputable nursery, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Room Leader to oversee the day-to-day running of their nursery teams in Leeds, Wakefield, and Harrogate. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a happy, safe, and welcoming environment for children aged 0-5, ensuring their emotional, physical, and educational needs are met.
- Lead the Room: Take charge of the day-to-day operations, implementing policies and procedures to maintain high standards of care.
- Care for Children: Oversee the care of children, addressing their individual needs and promoting their learning and development.
- Health & Safety: Ensure that health, safety, and safeguarding standards are maintained at all times, adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Daily Reporting: Keep accurate records of children's development, communicating updates to parents and senior staff.
- Qualifications: A Level 3 Early Years qualification (or higher) is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a nursery setting, ideally in a senior or Room Leader role.
- DBS Check: A valid DBS check (or the willingness to apply for one).
