Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Nursery Deputy Manager to join our team at Banana Moon Day Nurseries. As the ideal candidate, you will have a strong background in early years education and a proven track record of leadership or supervisory experience within a nursery setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Nursery Manager in implementing and maintaining policies and procedures.
  • Support and supervise nursery staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Ensure the nursery is compliant with regulatory requirements and health and safety guidelines.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff, fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect.
  • Assist in planning and organizing age-appropriate activities and learning experiences for children.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the nursery's quality of care and education.

The Ideal Candidate

You should possess a minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent, along with at least 2 years of experience in a senior role within an early years setting. Experience in leading and motivating a team of nursery staff is essential. Additionally, you should have DBS clearance and relevant safeguarding training.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
