Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Residential Conveyancing Administrator to join our team at Gilson Gray. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support in our Conveyancing department, working closely with Solicitors and Paralegals to ensure the smooth running of conveyancing transactions.

About the Role

This is a full-time permanent position based in Edinburgh. We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 - £30,000 per annum, plus benefits including a yearly bonus, company pension, and gym membership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with clients to provide updates and take accurate messages.
  • Order Redemption Statements, multi-search from PSS, and nearer settlement searches.
  • Prepare Standard Securities, Disposition, Discharges, and LBTT documents.
  • Lodge Advance Notices and update LMS and Lender Exchange.
  • Keep track of discharges received and register them.
  • Send updated title sheets to lenders, clients, and other party's solicitors.
  • Complete allocated tasks and day-to-day general correspondence using LawPro, our case management system.
  • Diary management and general administration support.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent typing skills and a full working knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Able to develop strong working relationships within the team and communicate effectively with internal and external clients.
  • A professional telephone manner and calm, helpful approach.
