Job Overview

The South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Assistant to join their Central Appointments Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support.

Main Responsibilities

  • Act as a call handler for patient and trust appointment enquiries, ensuring effective and efficient handling and processing of all referrals and queries.
  • Manage calls in a calm and professional manner, treating all individuals with dignity and respect.
  • Work in a busy contact centre, dealing with people with varying needs and providing excellent customer service.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office packages and other electronic systems to perform administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • GCSEs A-C or equivalent qualification or experience.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office suite.
  • Keyboard skills.
  • NVQ 2 in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
