Role Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated school in Maidstone.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with classroom teachers to provide academic support to students, helping them understand and complete tasks.

You will also maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting good behaviour and encouraging active learning.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and organise classroom resources for lessons.
  • Support students with their studies, providing individual and small-group tuition.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement.
  • Communicate effectively with the teaching team to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote positive behaviour and engagement in the classroom.
Key Requirements:
  • BA in Education or related field.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Prior experience in a school setting is desirable, but not essential.
  • DBS clearance and updated CV required.
