Health and Safety Professional

We are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Assistant to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the safety of our site operations and adhering to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct pre-work site surveys to assess and mitigate safety risks
- Create, review, and update risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)
- Identify hazards and propose appropriate safety controls and corrective actions
- Collaborate with the Health and Safety Manager to promote safety practices across all operational areas
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and compliance reviews
- Either IOSH and CDM qualifications or willingness to undertake them
- Background in health and safety or similar field
- Familiarity with utilities/construction sector
- Full UK driving licence
- £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
- Predominantly site-based across East and West Sussex with frequent attendance at the office in Albourne, West Sussex
- Mon - Fri, 7:30am - 5:30pm
- 21 days holiday + Bank Holidays
- Pension
- Training and opportunity to work towards industry recognised qualifications (IOSH, CDM)
