About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy retail environment where you will have the chance to develop your leadership and management skills. You will be working closely with our Store Support manager to ensure that all cleaning schedules and rotas are delivered on time and to the required standard.

You will also be responsible for managing the recruitment process for cleaning operatives and housekeepers, ensuring that all staff are trained and inducted correctly and that their personnel files are up to date.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to progress within the company and take on additional responsibilities as you grow with us.

Key Responsibilities
  • To manage the cleaning schedule and rota to ensure that all areas of the store are cleaned on time and to the required standard.
  • To support the delivery of the cleaning schedule where necessary.
  • To ensure that all cleaning materials and machinery are available, in good working order and used safely.
  • To manage the performance of staff in consultation with your line manager, taking necessary actions to develop staff or improve performance.
  • To ensure that all staff are trained in and adhere to Health and Safety and COSHH policies and procedures.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £38,000 per annum, uniform provided, free onsite parking and 28 days paid annual leave pro-rata. You will also receive on the job training and continued support from our Site Managers.
