Job Title: School Administrator - Support

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented School Administrator to provide administrative support to our schools in the Skelmersdale area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling various administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to parents, external agencies, and members of the public via face-to-face and telephone enquiries.
  • Oversee access to the building for visitors, issuing visitor passes as required.
  • Assist teachers and senior leadership team with data entry on pupil records and reporting on SIMS.
  • Support with pupil attendance, communicating with parents, teachers, and outside agencies as necessary.
  • Update attendance information onto SIMS and report as required.
  • Help arrange teaching supply cover on occasion.
  • Input orders and invoices onto FMS.
  • Perform general administrative tasks, including photocopying, sorting post, filing, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Excellent working knowledge of school systems, including SIMS and FMS.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.

Working Hours: 8.00am-4.00pm
