About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and flexible Domestic Assistant to join our team at QE Facilities. As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our patient environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that premises managed by QE Facilities are presented in a clean and tidy manner, promoting an image of high standards of cleanliness and order.
- Complete daily, weekly, and regular cleaning tasks, including cleaning of all floor surfaces, paintwork, internal glass, fixtures, and fittings.
- Organize and remove waste materials from designated areas, complying with defined waste procedures.
- Carry out sanitary cleaning in all wet areas, including toilets, basins, baths, and shower cubicles.
- Maintain and replenish cleaning materials to all designated areas, including linen in selected locations.
- Respond to requests for remedial cleaning after incidents or accidents in a timely fashion.
- Report building defects to ensure remedial action is taken.
- Prepare patient areas for service of patient meals, collect and wash cutlery and crockery, and serve patient beverages under the guidance of nursing staff.
- Perform linen changes in on-call rooms and residential accommodation, and curtain changes in all clinical areas.
