Senior FP&A Manager

Finatal is partnering with a leading fintech company to find a highly skilled Senior FP&A Manager to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, with a passion for commercial finance and a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams.

About the Role

The Senior FP&A Manager will be responsible for analysing and understanding the company's trading and financial performance, presenting key insights to the Board, SLT, and Group Finance. They will also be responsible for building out the FP&A function, partnering with the CEO, CFO, and Senior Leadership Team to manage performance and deliver strategic plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse and understand the company's trading and financial performance, presenting key insights to the Board, SLT, and Group Finance.
  • Build out the FP&A function, including financial planning, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Partner with the CEO, CFO, and Senior Leadership Team to manage performance and deliver strategic plans.
  • Lead the implementation of digital technologies to automate large parts of daily and weekly reporting, adopting a data-driven approach to demand planning and production scheduling.

Requirements

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience.
  • Proven finance leadership experience with a passion for commercial finance and the ability to build a 'best in class' commercial finance function.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced data competencies highly valued.
  • Extensive expertise in FP&A, cash flow planning, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Excellent stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to influence senior leaders and drive profitability improvements.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial software and ERP systems, such as NetSuite, is a plus.
