Imperial Recruitment Group is working in partnership with Middlesbrough College to recruit a Mental Health & Wellbeing Officer on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing wellbeing interventions, advice, guidance, and support for students experiencing low to medium mental health difficulties.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide wellbeing interventions, advice, guidance, and support for students experiencing low to medium mental health difficulties.
  • Support the delivery of a social prescribing model of mental wellbeing support for Middlesbrough College students.
  • Raise awareness in relation to mental health and wellbeing and contribute to campaigns and wellbeing self-help materials.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date records of student information and of intervention on all cases of safeguarding and mental health concerns.
  • Provide generic information and advice to college staff on matters concerning mental health.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification or above in a relevant discipline.
  • Grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent).
  • Relevant degree or professional qualification in Mental Health Support.
  • Mental Health First Aid trainer accreditation.
  • Level 3-5 Safeguarding training.

Contract Details:

This is a permanent contract with 37 hours per week, term time only.

The estimated salary for this position is £24,142 - £25,756 per annum.
