Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Hospitality Assistant to join our team at Statham Manor Care Centre. As a Hospitality Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our residents and visitors receive an exceptional dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to provide a high standard of hospitality service, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment in the dining room and serving area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a high standard of hospitality service to residents and visitors.
  • Support and assist visitors, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Inform the Chef of any individual requirements of residents, ensuring that their dietary needs are met.
  • Follow cleaning schedules and procedures, adhering to company HACCP guidelines.
  • Ensure that all training given is adhered to, promoting a culture of excellence and quality.
  • Record and report incidents and accidents, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Take responsibility for promoting safeguarding the welfare of adults, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Requirements

  • Hospitality or catering experience is desirable, but not essential.
  • Previous experience working in a care setting is desirable, but not essential.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with other members of the team, promoting a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
  • Prepared to participate in activities organized in the Home, promoting a sense of community and social interaction.
