**Job Summary**
: Deichmann, a leading international footwear retailer, is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Finance team as an Accounts Supervisor. This is a permanent position based in our Market Harborough office, with the possibility of working from home one day a week once fully trained.**Key Responsibilities**
• Complete all activities associated with high volume accounts payable processing • Undertake balance sheet account reconciliations • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts • Use management accounts to produce reports on a weekly and monthly basis • Run cost reports and reconcile spend against budgets, including the investigation and resolution of discrepancies • Supervise other accounts team members • Responsibility for preparation of compliance returns (e.g. packaging, waste, energy usage and business rates)
**Requirements**
• Educated to A level or equivalent • Minimum 2 years' experience in an accounting role, and able to demonstrate knowledge of a variety of accounting tasks • Keen to take on additional responsibility and contribute to the operational efficiency of the wider business • Ideally, intermediate level in Excel • Experience using SAP preferable • Previous experience supervising others would be beneficial • Strong analytical skills and an attention to detail • Ability to prioritize, plan work & manage time efficiently to meet deadlines • An effective communicator both verbal and written • A keen learner who can pick up new tasks quickly • Have excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office
