We are seeking a skilled Development Underwriter to join our team at Salus Insurance. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will be responsible for managing and developing our book of new business and broker relationships in the North of England.
Main Responsibilities- Perform regular on-site broker visits and underwriting surgeries to ensure excellent service and trading.
- Act as an escalation point for key broker partners and help improve work processes and promote overall corporate goals.
- Review and underwrite new business quotations across all products within our underwriting appetite and deal with any queries within the SLA's of the business.
Candidates must have a proven track record in underwriting commercial insurance risks, mainly property and casualty, as well as experience in developing and maintaining broker relationships, preferably in the North of England.
We offer a remotely based role with occasional travel to our London office when necessary. If you are a motivated and experienced underwriter looking to take your career to the next level, please apply for this exciting opportunity.
