About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dermatopathologist to join our team at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Dermatopathologist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic services to Dermatology and Plastic Surgery departments.

Main Responsibilities

As a key member of our team, you will be expected to:

  • Provide expert diagnostic services in Dermatopathology
  • Work closely with clinical colleagues to ensure seamless patient care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new diagnostic techniques and protocols
  • Participate in research and audit activities to improve patient outcomes

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Full and specialist registration with the General Medical Council
  • Completion of a Certificate of Completion of Training in Histopathology or equivalent
  • Experience in Dermatopathology, with a commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
