Children's Recovery Theatre Practitioner - Registered Nurse or ODP

University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW) is seeking a skilled Children's Recovery Theatre Practitioner to join our team. As a Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our young patients.

We are looking for an experienced practitioner who is passionate about providing exceptional care in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team, developing your skills and expertise in a fast-paced and challenging setting.

Main Responsibilities

As a Children's Recovery Theatre Practitioner, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality care to children and young people in the recovery theatre
  • Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Broad knowledge and experience of clinical nursing practice within a hospital environment
  • Interest in the clinical area
  • Essential skills and abilities, including good interpersonal and communication skills, computer skills, and competence in calculations for safe administration of medicines/fluids
