Salary

The successful candidate can expect a salary of approximately £55,000 per annum, taking into account the location in RG7 4PR and the requirements of the role.

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Laboratory Technician to work within our Plasma Diagnostic Support Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the assembly and testing of bespoke hardware, as well as supporting engineers and scientists with conducting laboratory experiments. Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the assembly and testing of bespoke hardware
  • Supporting engineers and scientists with conducting laboratory experiments
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and secure environment within the laboratory

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • Practical Electrical/Electronic qualification(s) and/or experience in maintaining, fault finding, repairing electrical systems down to modular level
  • Working in a laboratory/workshop environment
  • Use of testing and measuring equipment, such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes etc
