AWE seeks a skilled Control and Instrumentation Training Specialist to lead and deliver high-quality training programs for our apprentices.

This role is a key part of our team responsible for developing and inspiring the next generation of C&I engineers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, with experience in control and instrumentation maintenance and installation, and a passion for teaching and training.

Key responsibilities will include designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs, optimizing and organizing training for allocated apprentices, and leading a team of engineers to ensure that defined company and national contracted requirements for development are met.

Candidates must be qualified engineers with a BTEC / City and Guilds Level 3 or equivalent, and be able to demonstrate excellent presentation, communication, and influencing skills.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work with a diverse range of people and grades across the business, particularly young people, and be willing to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
