Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Bridging Finance team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for establishing relationships with introducers, managing the origination and structuring of bridging applications, and promoting our brand at industry events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with a portfolio of bridging finance introducers in Scotland, with a focus on building trust and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Manage the origination, structuring, and progression of bridging applications from initial inquiry to completion, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote our brand, identify new opportunities, and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with our credit team to ensure that all credit papers are written in line with our credit policy and appetite.
  • Promote our company culture and values, and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to drive business growth and improve customer outcomes.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of success in business development, with a strong understanding of the bridging finance process and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with introducers, borrowers, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage a regional territory.
  • Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices, with a commitment to compliance and risk management.
