An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Recovery Agent to join our team at Liberata in our North Somerset Office under the supervision of the Senior Finance Manager.

Contract type: 1 year Fixed Term

Key responsibilities:

  • Maximise income generated in relation to Sundry and Social Care debts
  • Administration of correspondence from internal and external clients
  • Pro-active recovery of Sundry & Social Care debts
  • Support telephone calls from residents and internal and external customers
  • Support telephone payments for vulnerable customers
  • Setting up payments plans including Direct Debits
  • Account adjustments and administration
  • Running weekly debt reminders
  • Support the Senior Finance Manager with the collation of month end information
  • Sending out copy invoices, credit notes and statements
  • Refer vulnerable debts to our approved third-party provider

Essential Skills and Attributes:

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent with English and Maths of Grade C/Level 5 or above.
  • Although full training will be provided it is desirable the candidate have experience within customer service, administration, or local government
  • Proven customer service experience
  • Debt recovery experience (desirable)
  • Have a sound working knowledge of the Microsoft applications (Excel, Word and Outlook) and the internet
  • Attention to detail and ability to work to a high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills to meet deadlines and demands.
