About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Campaigns Officer to join our team at the Motor Neurone Disease Association. As a key member of our External Affairs Directorate, you will play a critical role in driving positive change for the MND community across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective campaign strategies to improve access to vital support and services for people living with and affected by MND.
  • Work closely with our National Campaigns Manager and Public Affairs Manager to plan, develop, and deliver impactful campaigns.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Services and Partnerships Directorate and Policy and Campaigns team to identify challenges and failures in local services.
  • Engage with volunteers to amplify our campaigns and provide them with the tools and support they need to make a meaningful impact.
  • Represent the Association in collaborations with external stakeholders, including coalitions, to further our campaigning goals.
  • Support the Policy & Campaigns Assistant in managing correspondence and enquiries to ensure people living with and affected by MND are heard and involved in shaping and delivering our campaigns.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in developing, planning, and delivering effective campaign strategies that drive real change.
  • Experience of managing or working with volunteers in a campaign setting (or equivalent volunteering experience).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to present ideas clearly.
  • Organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends, and regular travel within the UK.
