Empowering Children with Special Educational Needs

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our support staff, you will work closely with students who have a range of Special Educational Needs, including Autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualised support to students with SEN, helping them to overcome barriers and achieve their full potential.
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Use behaviour management techniques to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor and celebrate student progress, reporting on their achievements and identifying areas for further support.

Requirements:
  • A genuine passion for working with children with SEN and a commitment to providing high-quality support.
  • Previous experience in SEN settings is desirable, but not essential.
  • Empathy, positive attitude, and ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff.
