We are seeking dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistants to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a long-term, full-time position with the potential for permanent roles.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, helping them access the curriculum and engage in learning.
- Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering tailored lessons for pupils with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, and emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional resilience, drawing on your experience with challenging behaviours.
- Build strong, supportive relationships with students, acting as a positive role model.
- Support pupils' social, emotional, and personal development, creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Experience working with young people from a youth work, young offenders, or similar background is essential.
- A strong, empathetic approach to managing challenging behaviour.
- Ability to work full-time (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM).
- A passion for helping young people overcome barriers to learning and succeed.
- Patience, resilience, and the ability to adapt to different situations.
- Long-term, full-time positions with the potential for permanent roles.
