About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Network & Scheduling Manager. As a key member of our commercial operations team, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and profitability of our airline.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning:
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and assess the feasibility of new routes and bases.
    • Develop and maintain financial forecasts for potential new routes and bases.
    • Collaborate with the Revenue Management team and Airport Development team to determine amendments to existing routes, frequencies, and airports.
    • Assess competition and recommend actions based on market trends and industry developments.
    • Manage the airport mix to ensure it aligns with budgeted costs.
    • Secure seasonal route permits and new route designations.
    • Build relationships with airports and third-party stakeholders.
    • Maximize profitability by optimizing capacity and weekly frequencies.
  • Scheduling:
    • Work cross-functionally with Revenue Management and Trading teams to enhance each schedule's revenue potential.
    • Liaise with Ground Operations, Flight Operations, Operations Control, Maintenance, and Crew Planning teams to ensure the feasibility of schedules and minimize costs.
    • Load and manage flight capacity into operational and reservation systems.
    • Secure airport slots for each season schedule.
    • Manage current slot historic rights and secure new ones to protect future positions in congested airports.
    • Provide analysis on airport capacity and strategies to maximize growth opportunities.
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role, with a strong background in network planning, strategy, and scheduling.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel/PowerPoint, with additional technical skills in PowerBI, SQL, etc. a plus.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to work in cross-functional projects.
  • Ability to work under pressure and comfortable with uncertain and rapidly changing business environments.
  • Proactive and willing to take initiative and shoulder responsibility.
  • Passionate about optimization and data-driven decision making.
