**Job Title:** Civil Engineering Cost Manager

**Salary Range:** £65,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

**Location:** Urmston, Manchester, with regular site visits around the area.

This position is at the heart of project success, ensuring accurate financial control and efficiency across a range of civil engineering works. You will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, managing budgets, and maintaining financial controls from start to finish. Your key focus will be on working closely with clients, contractors, and suppliers to streamline procurement and tender processes.

  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to oversee procurement and tender processes.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address financial matters directly.

**Requirements:**

  • A background in civil engineering or a related field.
  • A valid driver's license, as travel to sites is a core aspect of the role.
  • Solid experience in cost estimation, budget management, and financial analysis.
  • A collaborative approach with excellent communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders.
  • Access to a vehicle for site visits.
