About the Role

This Multi Skilled Engineer - Electrical Maintenance position is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading FMCG company in Wigan. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of electrical maintenance tasks, including performing scheduled maintenance, installing and repairing electrical systems, and conducting regular inspections and tests to identify potential hazards. A strong understanding of electrical systems and a time served apprenticeship (4 years min) are essential for this role. We offer a competitive salary of £35,000-£40,000 per annum, 31 days annual leave, enhanced employer paid pension, and on-site parking.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Carrying out scheduled maintenance tasks on electrical systems;
  2. Installing and repairing electrical systems to meet production and safety standards;
  3. Conducting regular inspections and tests to identify potential hazards;
  4. Collaborating with maintenance and production teams to prioritize tasks and minimize disruptions;
  5. Using CMMS to log maintenance activities and track equipment history;
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Time served apprenticeship (4 years min);
  • NVQ Level 3;
