About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Travel Consultant to join our team as an Assistant Manager. As a key member of our branch team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maximise Sales and Profitability: Assist the branch manager in achieving individual and team sales targets, while ensuring the overall profitability of the branch.
  • Operational Excellence: Assist with the effective day-to-day operation of the retail branch and foreign exchange bureau, ensuring seamless customer experiences.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, coach, and develop branch staff, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance performance.
  • Customer Focus: Provide exceptional customer service at all times, identifying and meeting customers' needs to drive sales and loyalty.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Participate in promotional events and activities to increase branch exposure and drive sales leads.
  • Administrative Support: Effectively perform administrative duties, including data entry, reporting, and other tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 2 years' experience as a Travel Consultant, with a proven sales record and excellent travel product knowledge.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work towards individual and team sales targets.
  • Qualifications: A recognised travel qualification is desirable, but not essential.
