About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our accounts team at Edwards & Pearce - Doncaster. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of a high volume purchase ledger, including matching, batching, coding, and reconciling invoices, as well as payment runs and month-end processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of a high volume purchase ledger, including matching, batching, coding, and reconciling invoices
  • Process payment runs and perform month-end tasks
  • Liaise with suppliers and colleagues to resolve account-related queries
  • Work closely with the accounts team to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices
Requirements
  • Experience with all aspects of purchase ledger, including accounts payable
  • Confidence and accuracy when processing invoices to deadlines
  • Assertiveness when liaising with suppliers and colleagues to resolve account queries
  • Strong personality, highly organized, and able to manage a busy workload
