Site Manager Job Description

JPJ Installations Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction site, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the construction site, supervising the labour force and monitoring subcontractors.
  2. Prepare the site prior to work commencing, ensuring that all necessary materials and equipment are in place.
  3. Plan and oversee the buying of necessary materials and equipment, checking materials against orders.
  4. Assist the Project Manager in ensuring that the project is delivered on time and to budget, setting benchmarks and monitoring progress.
  5. Record all Quality Assurance on site.
  6. Maintain regular communication with clients and their representatives, keeping them informed of project progress.
  7. Maintain regular communication with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, and others involved in the project.
  8. Assist in the provision of all access equipment.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in the Façade industry, preferably curtain walling and windows.
  • Understanding of the wider construction industry.
  • Knowledge of Kawneer systems is advantageous.
  • Valid SMSTS and CSCS card.
  • Relevant qualification in a construction-related subject (e.g. NVQ or equivalent).

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday.

Location:

  • Brighton, East Sussex.

Job Type:

  • Full-time, Permanent.

Salary:

  • £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year.
