About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Junior Project Manager to join our dynamic team at OCU Nettworx. As a key member of our project management team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of projects within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with senior project management staff and key stakeholders.
  2. Coordinate the allocation and utilization of project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure that project activities are adequately resourced and aligned with project requirements and priorities.
  3. Serve as a point of contact for project stakeholders, both internal and external, and facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  4. Assist in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks and issues, and develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize the impact of potential disruptions or delays on project delivery.
  5. Monitor project progress against established plans, budgets, and milestones, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify variances, trends, and areas for improvement.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and other project-related documentation.
  7. Prepare regular reports and updates for project stakeholders and management, ensuring that project deliverables meet the required quality standards and specifications.
  8. Participate in project post-mortems and lessons learned sessions to capture feedback, identify best practices, and areas for improvement, and apply insights to future projects to enhance project management processes and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in project management, business administration, engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a project management role is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or Asana, and Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
