Job Overview

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £48,000 per annum (dependent on experience), plus a range of benefits including 20 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, company pension scheme, and opportunities for professional development, coaching, and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement tailored support plans in collaboration with families, children, and other professionals.
  • Manage complex court cases involving child protection investigations, ensuring all interventions prioritize child welfare and family support.
  • Coordinate and chair meetings, produce concise reports, and engage effectively with children and their families.
Requirements
  • A Social Work qualification and HCPC registration with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Proven experience managing complex children and family cases, particularly in court proceedings and child protection.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding principles and children's social care theory, legislation, and practices.
