Job Description: Academic Progress Mentor
We are seeking an experienced Academic Progress Mentor to join our team of education professionals. As an SEN learning facilitator, you will be responsible for supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or EHCPs in their academic progress.
Main Duties:
- To work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop effective learning plans
- To monitor and report on students' progress, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for adjustments to teaching strategies
- To maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and carers
Requirements:
- Experience working with SEN and/or EHCPs
- Patient, empathetic, and passionate about teaching diverse needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
