About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Assistant to join our team at Freedom Leisure. As a Technical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and operating our facilities, ensuring that our equipment and systems are in good working order.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and operate all building services, including plant and equipment, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Perform preventative planned maintenance (PPM) and repairs to plant and equipment, including fixtures and fittings.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain technical records and reports to ensure accurate tracking of maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and implement improvements to our facilities and services.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to our staff and customers.
  • Be available to work outside of regular business hours, including weekends and evenings, as required.

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role or industry, with a strong understanding of technical plant and services.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Knowledge of spa pool operations and minor plumbing or electrical repairs is an advantage.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
