About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Change and Innovation Consultant to join our team at Western Power. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in driving innovation and change initiatives that deliver value to our business and community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop lean prototypes for digital solutions in your area of expertise.
  • Provide observations on the feasibility, viability, and desirability of assigned initiatives and business-wide program activities.
  • Support the innovation capability of the business by challenging the status quo through experimentation and evidence-led proposals.
  • Maintain a lean approach to innovation by proposing right-sized experiments to validate our most uncertain assumptions on innovation initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Accurately identify stakeholders' needs, respond with empathy, and demonstrate effective interpersonal skills and integrity.
  • Ensure that all project/program documentation is completed appropriately.
  • Contribute to managing and continuously improving our innovation process, methods, and tools.
About You

We are looking for someone with a strong background in innovation, change management, or a related discipline. You should have at least 5+ years of experience guiding and supporting organizations in executing strategy. Your skills and attributes should include:

  • Tertiary qualification in Innovation, Change Management, or a related discipline.
  • Project Management experience and knowledge to the required initiative level.
  • Innovative and creative problem-solving skills and the ability to provide workable solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A Be Bold attitude and an openness to new ideas.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Interaction with others requires understanding, influencing, and supporting others through applying technical knowledge or rational arguments.
