About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nurse to join our team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust (279) in the Amberley Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering safe and effective nursing care and treatment for patients receiving Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy, medical and supportive treatments or undergoing medical investigations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality patient care and treatment in accordance with Trust policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in education and training to maintain and enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Person Specification

  • RGN 1st Level
  • Experience post registration in acute clinical setting
  • SACT administration qualification
  • Current NMC Registration
  • Current competency in administration of intravenous medication
  • Cannulation competency and venepuncture
  • Experience in haemato-oncology nursing
